As a social worker…

I draw from a holistic model of mental health and wellness which incorporates evolutionary psychology, polyvagal theory, and somatic interventions.

When it comes to psych, I have been around the block.

I bring references from my experience working in a level one trauma center as a

Crisis Coordinator during COVID and the George Floyd protests,

to working alongside psychiatry on a 100-bed inpatient mental health unit,

to outpatient therapy groups with adults with co-occurring disorders,

to working in the public school system with children on the spectrum.

I have experienced a boot camp of acute psychiatric experiences and bring that knowledge and experience to my private practice to help you best understand and balance medical and holistic perspectives of mental health care.

I now much prefer the environment of my own home office… ushering souls through this existential dark time in our society and culture.

As a human…

I am originally from Massachusetts and currently residing in Shakopee, Minnesota.

I live in a multigenerational household with my partner and two bad ass kiddos who keep me going. I also have a senior Catahoula Leopard dog who bosses me around all day.

I have been around the block in my personal life, lived many lives all around the USA, and bring a breadth of wisdom from my vagrancy and foibles, as well as my own collection of abstract metaphors to connect peer reviewed research to life.

(it’s my art.)
